What does the Outdoor Power Supply Kit power?

It's built specifically for our low-voltage outdoor fixtures — LIFX Path Lights and Spot Lights. It steps down standard 100-240V household power to the low voltage these fixtures need, so you can run them safely outdoors without a bulky transformer at every light.

How many lights can I run off one power supply?

Each Path Light or Spot Light draws 24W, and the power supply outputs up to 230W at full brightness, so one unit comfortably runs up to 8 lights. If you're planning a larger layout, we'd size it out fixture by fixture rather than guessing, since running fixtures at max brightness constantly will use more of that headroom.

Is it weatherproof?

Yes. It's rated IP67, so it's built to handle rain, sprinklers, and everyday exposure to the elements. Just make sure it's installed following the included guidelines (typically staked or mounted above ground, away from standing water) to get the full benefit of that rating.

Can I connect more than one run of lights to it?

Yes. It has two output connectors, so you can split your fixtures into two separate runs from a single power supply, either extending your reach across a bigger space or running lights in two different directions from one central point.

Do I need one of these for every string of lights?

Not necessarily. As long as you're within the 230W output and 8-fixture guideline, you can run multiple Path Lights or Spot Lights off a single power supply. For bigger installs that exceed that capacity, you'll need an additional power supply kit to keep everything running at full brightness.

What do I do if my lights aren't turning on?

Start by checking the connection points, ours and the plug into your outdoor outlet, to make sure everything's fully seated. If it's plugged in and lights still aren't responding, check whether you've exceeded the 8-fixture/230W capacity, since overloading the power supply can cause dimming or dropouts. If everything checks out and it's still not working, reach out to our support team.
