I have at least a dozen Lifx bulbs, so I am obviously a fan. However, the setup process is finicky, and this time it was more finicky than usual. It took me about an hour and many attempts to install these bulbs. Hence my three-star rating.

So Happy with these lights! I was able to make my own custom perfect color! Not too yellow not too blue. The color is so clean, bright and soothing. With the ability to turn all my lamps on/off from my phone. You can also dim each separately and each lamp can have its own color. It feels like I had a designer in my home to customize my lighting. So extravagant and fun!

A great addition to my LIFX ecosystem. Like all the other elements, I functions very well and produces an almost infinite variety of colours.

Do I need a hub or bridge to set it up?

No. It's Wi-Fi only. Screw it in, then connect via the LIFX app, or scan the QR code for instant pairing with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, or SmartThings. Either way, you're set up in under 2 minutes.

How bright is it, and what colors can it produce?

It delivers 1100 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 75W incandescent bulb, with billions of colors and a full warm to cool white spectrum, from 1500K to 9000K. Fine-tune everything with a 360° color wheel and dimming from 1 to 100%.

What's Matter, and does this bulb support it?

No, this version doesn't support Matter. It connects natively via Apple HomeKit instead, and still works seamlessly with Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings, so you're not locked into a single ecosystem.

Which voice assistants does it work with?

All the major ones: Alexa, Google Home, and Siri, right out of the box, no extra setup required.

Can I schedule it to change automatically throughout the day?

Yes. Build routines that shift from cool daylight for focus to warm 1500K light for wind-down, all running automatically once you set them.

How is this different from the LIFX Everyday bulb?

This one's SuperColor. It gives you billions of colors plus the full white spectrum for maximum creative control, along with increased brightness. Everyday is simplified to tunable white only, for straightforward practical lighting.
