#lifxlimelight : creators for creators
William is a billboard located in Times Square. He’ll be running the #lifxlimelight campaign where we’ll feature the work of a new creative every week.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Head over to the @WilliamBoard_ Instagram.
We’ve bought a 15 sec spot on a billboard in Times Square. We call him William.
WIlliam is going to deliver a campaign called #LifxLimelight. It’ll run over 5000 times in 3 months. And we can change the video every week, to feature a new designer or creator who is tagged in any post on @WilliamBoard_
We are designers, who got a break a few years back and are now thriving. So we are investing in getting more of the design and creative community out in the public lime light via the billboard. Who knows, it may just spark something. Shine a spotlight on someone’s flare and illuminate someone’s lust-er for life. And look, if nothing else it gives us the chance to jam as many light puns into these sentences as possible.
So here’s what we’re going to do_ we want you to suggest great creative people, or simply one piece of work, you’d like to see on William. No corporations, no sales, just people, with cool work that belongs in the limelight. (Sure, we get that some people have brands and businesses but we’re happy to help them along).
What we want you to do_
1. Tag your recommended person's Instagram account in the @WilliamBoard_ profile.
2. We will make contact with our shortlist who meet the brand criteria of being one or all of these: visually arresting; wildly entertaining eye candy; popular (ie if lots of people are asking for them).
3. Those who want to be involved will get their 15 seconds of content (new or existing) posted to the billboard for at least 5 days.
That’s it. So, if you want to put yourself forward, or a friend, or someone you admire who is making creative waves already, please follow @WilliamBoard_
If you haven’t heard of us, we make smart lights. Colorful, automated, wi-fi, voice-activated ones. But with our lights, if you’re not sure, you can just dip your toe in the water and get one - it will work straight out of the box. No need for an expensive starter kit with accessories.
